Current Arts Clubs

Welcome to the Clubs Page

CICDA both funds and promotes all Arts Affiliated Clubs on campus. This year there are as many as twenty groups working with us. Participation within these groups is encouraged as a means of creating lasting relationships and sharing common interests and experiences within the Arts Community. Below is a list of Arts Clubs that we support here at CICDA.

Students, if you wish to participate in any of the clubs and would like to be added to the club membership list to receive e-mails and notifications for upcoming events please e-mail our External VP at chasya.dg@cicda.ca

Film Society:
The WLU Film Society provides a tight knight group for lovers of film in the Laurier community. Our club is directly linked to the film faculty and they join us for many of our events such as “Meet the Profs” Night and “SceneIt?” Game Night. Though our meetings are infrequent, once monthly, we are currently working on a biweekly film club meeting in the Winter to encourage dialogue about films and why they are such an important facet to our culture. The WLU Film Society also strives to bring in guest speakers and screeners for the sake of drawing in all members of the Laurier community to celebrate film from the perspective of someone in the industry.
